5 legs
Getting Started
Just bought your first Spikeball™ Kit?
Welcome to the SpikeFam! Here’s some tips to get started.
What's in the bag
5 rims
1 net
1 ball (at least)
1. Build Rim
Connect all the legs and rim pieces in order to form a raised circle.
2. Attach Net
Connect the net in five equal points around the rim where each of the legs are.
Go around the rim and attach the rest of the net to fill in the gaps evenly with equal tension.
Insider Tip:
Aim to have all the net holes look like squares. If they’re diamond shaped, it means the net is being pulled too much in one direction. This will create inconsistent bounces during play.
3. Bounce Test
To check if you've done it correctly, drop a ball onto the net from eye level and if it bounces up to your waist, you’re good. If it bounces way below your waist, tighten the net.
4. GET SPIKING
Call your friends, neighbors, parents and get spiking!
Wait...so how do you play?
Here’s a quick easy guide to get you started
2v2
Team 1 serves to Team 2 to start a point
3 Touches
Players have up to three alternating touches to return the ball to the net
360º Play
After the serve, players can move or hit in any direction around the net
Scoring
Score when the opposing team hits the rim, the ground, or bounces the ball more than once on the net
